“I’m drawn to the idiosyncratic elements of my environment, often an unusual object, or a strange structural landscape populated by a lone person.  I photograph situations that feel uncanny and mysterious and I start to make up stories about them. SIGNS OF LIFE is my preoccupation with finding a unifying beauty inside the chaos and conflict of manmade structures as they invade and overtake nature.”
